Long-term, institutional capital via SEB Asset Management and SEB Nordic Energy Fund.

A dark green fund with Swedish and Nordic pension savers.

Locus Energy is a jointly owned company between Locus Infra AB and SEB Asset Management (SEB AM). SEB AM is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken and one of the largest asset managers in the Nordic region. A central part of sustainability work is active ownership through partners. And to contribute to the generation of more green local electricity.

Through the fund established in 2022, Locus Energy has access to long-term institutional capital – so-called Evergreen – from Swedish and Nordic pension savers, many of which are municipalities and regions. The fund has a dark green classification according to Article 9, which is the highest classification according to the EU's conditions for sustainable investments – ESG (Environmental Social and Corporate Governance).

Active ownership contributes to the transition.

SEB AM's conviction is that companies that work in a structured way with sustainability in the long term will be more successful and thus have the opportunity to generate higher returns on investments over time for our fund investors. A central part of sustainability work is active ownership, where we can influence companies in a more sustainable direction and thus add value to our various investment strategies. SEB AM wants to contribute to sustainable development by investing in companies and other assets that contribute to the transition to a more sustainable global economy.

"

SEB wants to be a leading catalyst in the sustainable transition. As a bank, SEB has the power, opportunity and responsibility to influence the world in which we operate.
