Locus Energy expands its sustainable energy portfolio in Västra Götaland

Locus Energy continues to grow through the acquisition of additional wind power in SE3. This adds a further 20 GWh to Locus Energy’s portfolio and creates additions to current facilities.

Through the acquisitions, Locus Energy is active in a total of 18 Swedish municipalities where continued direct investments will contribute to increasing the local production of renewable and robust energy.

With today’s deal, Locus Energy continues to strengthen the company’s already existing wind power clusters in, among other places, Västra Götaland. Meeting a sharply increased energy and power demand in the region is a key issue in enabling the major industrial investments. There are no shortcuts here. An expanded grid is important, but basically it’s about increasing the local production of sustainable electricity. Through Locus Energy’s plans for upgrading through re-powering, we want to do our part.
